"The Light" is a Spiritual community/Spiritualist Church, which is devoted to development and enlightenment  through lectures, development groups, channelling, clairvoyance etc. We hope that we can help people to find a positive way of life, which they can live and die with. Our meetings are held at "Lysets Hus" (the "House of  Light"), and our vision about “The Light” is that it will be a place where people can gather on their spiritual path to reach their goal.

Our meeting.

The meeting Wednesday night proceeds in this way :

We open at 7 pm, and at 7.30 sharp the door is closed at the meeting begins.

The chairman starts with a welcome, we sing a song or a hymn, and the chairman says a prayer.

Then the medium or the person who is our guest that night begins to work.

Many different things are going on at our meetings. One night there is channelling where you can ask personal questions. Another night a medium gives clairvoyance, or a guest talks about various kinds of spiritual subjects. All that you can read in our programme.

The meeting ends with a prayer and a song. Afterwards there is coffee or tea (included in the admission fee) and a chat if you so wish.

In what do we believe?

Reincarnation.

To be incarnated, is to be in flesh. ("Carne" means meat in Spanish). Reincarnation is to live severel times. To be born again.

Reincarnation is not an issue made up these years or imported from the East. Long back in history it has been a fact. Even the old philosopher Platon was concerned about this issue.

Why isn’t it common knowledge today ?

In year 553 when Emperor Justinian ruled there was a church meeting in Constantinople. It was decided to condemn and erase reincarnation from the bible and all other holy scripts.

In the last century some holy scripts were found. The gospel by Thomas must be the most important. This gospel gives us ideas about how to live with responsibility and reincarnation.

So:

It is the soul that gives life to the body when incarnated on earth. An incarnation lasts an amount of years and in the end the soul leaves the body and ascend into the spirit world.

The soul stays in the spirit world as long as needed. Maybe it stays there for decades or centuries, it all depends on how the last life was spent. Maybe there is work to be done in the spirit world; or maybe the soul is preparing the next incarnation.

Together with our guardian angel and other spiritual guides, every human being prepares how the next life is going to be. Which problems to solve, which possibilities to have and what obstructions will be useful to meet in order to reach the goal.

Human beings always have his/her free will to do what ever they choose.

Karma.

Two words that link are reincarnation and karma. The law of karma = the law of cause and effect. Things or thoughts you send out will sooner or later come back to you. Some people think that karma is a bad thing that it keeps human beings with no hope, but the understanding of karma makes every person responsible. Another word connected is dharma = positive karma.

Time.

Time is very important in our material world. “Time is money", we say!

The further out in the universe you get the less you feel time and space.

In the spirit world time doesn’t exist as we know it. If you stay there, you stay as long as needed.

The power of thoughts.

There are spiritual laws that say : “What you send out sooner or later comes back”. This goes for your thoughts too! Your thought is a very powerful tool.

We all remember experiences we have had with our thoughts.

How many times have you experienced having thought of a person or a family member, that suddenly they call you on the phone.

The power the thought is the most creative power existing. A lot of books have been written about how you create your own life and how you heal yourself.

Thought is the first link in a chain of three: thought – word – action. Keeps on going like a small train.

Guardian angles and Spiritual Guides.

Guardian angles and Spiritual guides as well as angels are creatures with their own function in the universe. They are associated with each person. That means each person has his or her own guardian angel who follow and guides this person all his or her life. Is there even before and after life on earth.

Spiritual guides or helpers can be connected to a person for a longer or shorter period. They can be very different and help with a variety of things.

God.

God is everywherw present – an all loving source. God is the creator of all things.

This means, that all are equal – what man gives power to will grow.

The divine power has given people the possibility to incarnate in order to develop on earth. We are given the possibility to learn about duality and learn how to distinguish.

To distinguish between good and bad, big and small, beautiful and ugly etc.

Because it is in the earth dimension that we can feel and acknowledge things.

Intuition.

Intuition today means a path to the divine power. Today more and more people on earth believe that intuition is the path to follow. You don’t need a Guru or a vicar to reach God.

You have all the answers inside you. You only have to learn how to use your intuition.

Our goal.

Through ongoing development our goal is to reach for a positive existence so that our spirit will be concentrated positive – loving towards all and everything.
